It really bothers me that the government thinks it is OK to monitor people's email in the name of national security. Since they can not monitor our US Postal Service mail in the name of national security why should email be any different. I believe that some day the US mail will be obsolete and won't exist any more and that everything will be email. Do you think that email should be protected by the same laws as US Postal Service mail?
absolutely! i agree! i study computer forensics, and we have discussed this. it is nuts. And to the person who said "you are a republican who is worried about what the government might find" to the person that asked the question- screw you! I can hardly believe Americans are okay with the first amendment of freedom of speech, and the fourth amendment of privacy being violated. Unbelievable.
NoDo you think that email should be protected by the same laws as US Postal Service mail?
Yes, I think it should be protected, but at the same time... how could we guarantee it?
NO! Everyone knows that E-mail is not as Secure! You are just a Repub who is Afraid of what is going to be found in the E-mail at the White House!Do you think that email should be protected by the same laws as US Postal Service mail?
Wow...pretty bright thinking...
The government is the least of your worries. Any body that works at your ISP or a good hacker can get your email. You should never expect privacy when sending an electronic message.
