I want to cancel my mail service. Not my email, but my actual mail that comes in the mailbox. It's never anything good anyways. Don't have friends or family to write me, it's always just junk mail and bills. My bills I can pay without getting a little paper each month. I called the post office and they said I can't cancel it. So do I just take down my mailbox or what? How exactly can they force me to receive trash all the time? How can I cancel my mail service?
You can't stop your mail service entirely, but the Federal Trade Commission offers some tips on reducing junk mail. Simply follow their recommended steps at the link below.
