What days are affected over the Christmas period for Royal Mail's normal service?

I need to know what days that the Royal Mail don't operate over the christmas period. Do they resume service on boxing day? And do the Royal Mail resume normal service after boxing day to new years day?

should be working most days except from xmas and boxing day and new years day, but just to say they will be working does not mean you will recieve your post i have had redelivery confirmations sent to me and they never turn up on the day they say they will.

i saw it on the news that there are so many items that are late this year more than ever before due to the internet everybody ordering on line has put the mail behind and they are finding it hard to catch up so they may do extra deliverys hope you get what you need xXx and merry christmas
